Start today, be better tomorrow.
Lancaster Brazilian Jiu Jitsu opened its doors in Ephrata, PA in 2008. In 2015, current head instructor Mark Sweigart assumed ownership of the gym, restructuring the curriculum with input from local instructors.
Our facility emphasizes both the fundamentals and advanced techniques of jiu jitsu, while fostering the thing we care about most: community. Everyone who steps on our mats becomes part of the team.
Three words, one philosophy: working together to help each other improve.
From Little Gorillas to grandparents, our doors are open to everyone, and plenty of families train together.
Your training partners become your closest friends. Iron sharpens iron, and nobody improves alone.
The art that ties it all together. Technique over strength, growth over ego, progress one brick at a time.
Mark has trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2010 and earned his black belt in 2020, receiving his certification from Shane Mock. He also brings experience in MMA and submission grappling to the mats.
Off the mats, Mark holds a CSCS credential and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from West Chester University, expertise he uses to build training that makes you a better, healthier athlete.
